Donate to Good CheerDuring the Holidays and again at the conclusion of the school year, BEST shows appreciation to the "behind the scenes" support staff at Davis and Lane schools (office staff, nurses, custodians, assistants, cafeteria workers and crossing guard) by giving each a small gift.
We collect monetary contributions in December to fund both gifts (given in December and June). It is our hope that each family will make a donation of $5 per child for this small, yet meaningful gesture of appreciation. Please feel free to add a little extra for those who are unable to do so this holiday season. This donation is separate than the teacher/assistant gifts collected by the room parents for staff that support specific classrooms. If you would like to contribute to the Good Cheer program, please send in your donation (cash or check made payable to BEST PTO) via Kidmail in an envelope addressed to BEST Children's Cheer by December 18th. You can note that this is for Good Cheer in the memo or on the envelope. Thank you for helping to brighten the day of those who work so hard behind the scenes to help our children! Davis and Lane schools collected over 44,000 Box Tops during the 2017-18 school year, and raised $4,400 for our schools! Don't forget to collect Box Tops over the summer. The next collection will be on Friday, December 21, 2018, and then monthly on every 3rd Friday.
